ADRIAN ZUNIGA – TIMBALE SOLOS ON REACHING OUT, BAILAR CON LUMBRE
Adrian “Jamon” Zuniga who performed timbale solos on Reaching Out and Bailar Con Lumbre on this CD is perhaps the most sensational and talented percussionist stemming from San Francisco as a youngster – with perhaps the exception of Gibby Ross. So good in fact, that Richard Segovia was able to introduce and receive positive acknowledgement from UC Berkeley, whereby the door may be open for a music scholarship to attend college there when he has graduated from high school.
